Shas & Toms Boho-mantic Wedding

We often plan weddings and style to the couple’s tastes. It could be modern, industrial with a touch of romance or even the classic crisp white linens with greenery & white floral blooms.

With Shas & Tom’s wedding we identified immediately with their dream of a Boho styled wedding. Their brief to us was fun, casual and beautiful. Set in the stunning garden venue The Homestead we had loads of room to play. The venue itself is already a beauty with its eclectic curated furniture and enchanting garden. We brought in the bride’s love for dried blooms incorporating it in every wedding element possible. Her Indian heritage just added to the beauty on the wedding day. On arrival guests could enjoy receiving a Henna Tattoo , there were few traditional dances and of course a second gorgeous outfit Shas changed into after the ceremony.

Styling a wedding is such an important job, getting the vision exactly as the bride pictures. Shas and Tom’s wedding felt like a passion project as we are Boho babes at heart and we could not have wished for a better result. We wish Shas & Tom Happily Ever After as husband and wife.

Van Boom Wedding!

Set against the gorgeous backdrop of Houhoek this was certainly one of our favourite destinations to set up. From the get go Nicole knew what she wanted. Pinks, greys, silver, white, greenery and utter romance was the theme of the day.

We have to say the Eucalyptus runner on either side of the aisle oozed romance and just lifted the space. This bridal daydream turned out exactly how we thought it would, simple and understated yet so gorgeous. The fun balloon arch in the reception area was so extra and set a beautiful backdrop for the cake in the reception space. The tables carried over the romance with beautiful pink napkins, silver under plates and stunning pink candles with glass candlestick holders. The bridal table was a real show stopper with two massive silver candelabras and a cascade of greenery with pillar candles. Pinterest dream achieved!

Protea’s are always a classic way to go when deciding on floral arrangements. They are strong, unique, direct you with decor design and absolutely inspire. The Brummer wedding took the inspiration and ran with it. Their colour scheme was burgundy & gold with the classic eucalyptus to add that extra touch of greenery to their wedding design. We love their custom designed stickers and cards for their wedding favours. It added a personal touch and gave you a bit of a peek into who they are as a couple.

Angelique and Dietrich were fun and absolutely lovely to work with. Angelique being in the Navy was a super organised bride but relaxed about what she wanted to achieve for their wedding day design. We adore how everything came together with their romantic ceremony overlooking the southern peninsula coastline and beautiful reception. Their wedding day was filled with love, laughter and lots of Sokkie. Congratulations to Angelique & Dietrich, we wish you lots of love, magic, sweet moments and joy in your years to come as a Mr & Mrs.
